Maria Weir Werth is one of nine children of Maria and Larry Weir.  She currently lives in Tehachapi, California.  Her passions are playing bass, guitar, ukulele, singing, writing and adobe history.  She plays music with her sister, Tracy Barns, in the Grace Angel Band and also the Tehachapi Pops Orchestra.

To support her music passion, she went back to school and obtained two Master’s Degrees, one in Special Education and other in Administrative Leadership.  After one year as a Vice Principal, she began compiling documents for Larry’s book and refocused her interest in completing this project.  She now works part-time as a substitute teacher to enable the freedom to play music and continue writing.
